10. NUS law professor in sex-for-grades scandal

In July 2012, it was reported that the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau (CPIB) is investigating an NUS law professor for engaging in a sex-for-grades arrangement with a 23-year-old female undergraduate. According to media reports, the man, identified as former district judge Tey Tsun Hang, was arrested in April and released on bail. The student allegedly initiated the deal, culminating in a relationship involving sex on several occasions.

The investigation is ongoing.
